To rebuild our economy and expand opportunity and security for all, we need to sustain and strengthen our public investments -- in education, health care, infrastructure, and other vital supports. Adequate revenues are needed to finance these critical investments in our shared economic prosperity and to put our nation on a sustainable fiscal path. We urge national, state and local organizations to sign this statement to send a clear message to Congress about how to raise needed revenues through fair and responsible tax policies that benefit the common good.
