State Reports – Census Data 2015

In addition to releasing a national Census poverty data report, the Coalition on Human Needs has worked with partner organizations in 13 states to prepare and release state reports using the data from the American Community Survey published by the Census Bureau on September 15, 2016.

The reports highlights the decline in the poverty rate from 2014 to 2015 while emphasizing the cost of being poor and the need to expand programs and strengthen policies that actually work to reduce poverty.
