Strengthening America’s Values and Economy (SAVE) for All is a coalition of national, state and local advocacy groups, service providers, faith-based organizations, policy experts, labor and civil rights groups working to protect important services from harmful federal budget cuts and to save the federal capacity to spur economic recovery and progress for the benefit of all.

The SAVE for All campaign develops materials that make the case for the involvement of federal resources, engage grassroots advocates, employ media strategies and contact members of Congress with messages consistent with the campaign’s four principles that Federal budgets should: (1) protect low-income people; (2) invest in broadly shared prosperity; (3) increase revenues; and (4) seek responsible savings from reducing waste in the Pentagon and elsewhere.

In 2011, nearly 2,000 groups came together under SAVE for All – Strengthening America’s Values and Economy for All. And we’re still working hard to show Congress that people across the country want economic security for all of us, not breaks for the well-heeled and well-connected. Our message is badly needed, because powerful members of the new Congress have voiced support for slashing funding and permanently reducing the capacity of basic low-income programs to meet need; dramatically reducing most kinds of federal spending; cutting taxes for upper-income individuals and corporations, and increasing Pentagon spending.

In 2015, leaders from the Coalition on Human Needs and SAVE for All delivered a letter to Congress which included the 2015 SAVE principles.
