Drawing the Women’s March on Washington

|

January 24, 2017

Well over a million people attended Women’s Marches in Washington, DC, across the country and the globe. I was one of them, and so was my daughter, Lauren Weinstein, who draws/writes comics for The Village Voice. I hope you will forgive my motherly pride in sharing her depiction of the DC March. We show the first page here; click here or below to see the full piece, which I hope you’ll do because (1) it really captures the passion, determination, irreverent humor and commitment to justice of the event’s participants and (2) the second page mentions CHN. And me. I hasten to say that the only things I “masterminded” (see the second page) were preparations for 6 women to get to the march and a lasagna.
